Know which Rheem model you are comparing
This guide covers the atmospheric-vent PRO+G75-76N RH. Rheem also offers power-vent and propane models with similar names. Those differences matter: the fuel supply and exhaust arrangements must match the equipment selected.
A larger storage tank may be worth considering when your household’s hot-water use has increased. Tank capacity alone does not determine the right choice. Tell us which showers and appliances run together and where your current system falls short.
Check the installation before choosing
We review the existing heater, gas supply, venting, combustion-air requirements, location and service access. Dimensions and clearances also matter, especially in a closet or other confined space. Replacing another 75-gallon heater does not automatically make this model a direct fit.
Photos of the heater, readable model label, surrounding space and visible connections help start the conversation. We’ll discuss the equipment and installation work together before you decide.

Rheem 75-gallon questions
Is this the same as the power-vent version?
No. Rheem lists a separate power-vent model with “PV” in its model number. We review your current venting and location before recommending a replacement.
Can this natural gas model replace a propane heater?
The model described here uses natural gas. A propane installation needs equipment approved for that fuel. Share the current heater’s label so we can assess the appropriate option.
How do I request an estimate for this model?
Choose the free installation estimate option and mention Rheem PRO+G75-76N RH when we follow up. For help with an existing heater, call 561-602-9062.
