Three electric options, with different requirements
- Conventional electric tank: electric elements heat water stored in the tank. For a replacement, we review capacity, delivery needs and physical fit.

Choose capacity and fit together
Your current tank size is a useful starting point. Tell us whether it supplies enough hot water and whether your household’s usage has changed. We consider tank capacity and first-hour rating, which describes hot-water delivery during an hour starting with a fully heated tank.
Physical fit matters too. Share the heater’s location, the space around it and any access concerns. The proposed model’s dimensions and electrical requirements need to be checked against the installation, even when replacing another electric heater.
What to share for an estimate

Is a hybrid heater the same as a conventional electric tank?

Can I change to electric tankless?
